WELCOME TO OUR LOCAL HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH
Our Household operate in Grace that consists of spiritual fathers and sons walking in a covenantal relationship with one another.
We uphold the biblical structure of the Father and Son, as highlighted in Malachi 4:6 and Matthew 1:1. Our mission is to build the church in alignment with the foundation laid out in Acts 2:42, where we emphasize the Apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers.
Living Waters: The Choice Between Life and Spiritual Desolation
Reading Revelation 22:1, we come to understand that pure water is flowing and proceeding out of the throne of God, resulting in a river and there was the Tree of life. It is written that the fruit was consistent and the leaves were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:1-2 KJV
(1) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
(2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
In Jeremiah 2:17, God is declaring that Israel has forsaken Him by doing two evils! It is easy to ask, ‘How, When, Where?’ The answer is given in Jeremiah 2:13:
They forsook Him, the fountain of living waters.
They hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.
Thus, they turned away from the fountain of life, who is God Himself.
They went to drink poisonous water, as recorded in Jeremiah 2:18
Jeremiah 2:13, 17-18 KJV
(13) For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
(17) Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, when he led thee by the way?
(18) And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
We live in a time, we need to consider what are we taking in? Fresh water flowing from the throne of God, or are we turning to waters which are unknowingly causing sickness, miscarriage, premature death in our lives.
Bad water can even affect a whole city. The prophet Elisha was confronted with such a situation.
2 Kings 2:19-21 KJV
(19) And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.
(20) And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.
(21) And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.
As a Household of Faith (house church), our desire is to drink the water flowing from the throne of the living God. We meet on a weekly and monthly basis searching the Scriptures as well as dialogue the Scriptures.
